We trust that you’re keeping well and that lockdown life has been kind to you. We’ve really missed you and hopefully it won’t be long before we can all enjoy good times together in the clubhouse, outdoors and around the boundary again.
Below you’ll find some exciting news and updates about what’s happening at the club for social members.
Firstly, we’d like to take this opportunity to say a very big THANK YOU to each and every one of you, our members and also our local community, for your continued support throughout what’s been a challenging year for the hospitality sector.
Your membership renewals and optimism (and keenness to return) have really helped us over recent months. You’re incredible – thank you!
Please see below for a statement from our Club Chairman, John Cotton, regarding our re-opening:
“Just to give everybody a brief update, with regards opening the clubhouse to our members, it is not viable for us to open prior to the 17th May due to the increased costs in wages for staff due to the coronavirus restrictions. With bar wages expected to be in then region of £1000.00 per week when we reopen, with the limited outdoor facilities, and the numbers we can cater for it would be financial suicide to try and provide limited facilities at present.
The committee are very conscious of the fact that our members wish to use the club as soon as possible but I am sure you will understand, as always,` we operate in the best interests of our members hence why we have made this decision.
We will update you further when we have a definitive date for reopening the clubhouse and bar”.

Saturday: 12 noon-11.30pm
Sunday: 12 noon-10.30pm

New Caterer Arrives At St Annes CC!
We’re delighted to announce and welcome our fabulous new caterer, Chef Ian Jones… and he has some delicious treats in store for you!
We wish Ian good luck with his new venture with us, when government guidelines permit us to open (hopefully after 17th May).

Function Room Hire
Now that life and the hospitality sector are gradually returning to (a new) normal, we’ve been receiving quite a few enquiries regarding function room hire recently. Please find below some helpful information should you be looking to book either of our superb function rooms.
Please note that the proposed re-opening dates and late licences etc are subject to the go-ahead from the Government following a review of their guidelines in June:
- Dates: Bookings for function room hire are available from 21st June 2021
- Function Room Facilities: Details about both of our function rooms with spectacular views over the ground, excellent facilities and free parking, can be found here on our Function Room page
- Membership: To book the function room at the fantastically cheap rate, all we we ask that the person making the booking is either already a member or becomes a Social Member – social membership is only £6 for the year(!) and an application form can be found on our Membership page
