All Stars Cricket for boys & girls age 5-8 at St Annes Cricket Club

St Annes CC has become part of the new England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) initiative, All Stars Cricket for boys and girls.

This programme replaces the Kwik Cricket sessions that we’ve held in previous years.

In line with the ECB directives, All Stars Cricket is an 8 week programme which begins at 6pm on Friday 19th May and each session lasts for 1 hour.

You can still register to join in the fun via the ECB website here

Every child that registers will attend sessions that are inclusive, active and jam-packed with fun which helps to develop your child’s movement skills.

Mums and dads are encouraged to take part too – if you’d like to volunteer to join in and help at any sessions, please let Bernie Bradley (All Stars Cricket Activator) or Neil Bradley (St Annes CC Junior Cricket Chairman) know or select the appropriate tick box when you register your child for All Stars Cricket.

Whilst the advertised period of All Stars Cricket is 8 weeks, at St Annes CC we are extending our session to 10 weeks (2 FREE weeks!) – the last session will be on Friday 21st July.

Every child that registers will receive a backpack full of goodies including a cricket bat, ball, water bottle, personalised shirt and cap all sent straight to your door.

All Stars Cricket at St Annes CC 2017

Fresh air + games = great fun.

All Stars Cricket is a brand new initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.

The programme is delivered across England and Wales at over 1,800 fully accredited All Stars Cricket centres.

It is a fun and active way to develop your child’s skills, and through our eight-week programme they will learn lots – as well as make new friends – in a safe and inclusive environment.

The programme starts at St Annes CC on FRIDAY 19th MAY.

Quick and easy registration can be made here…

All girls and boys are welcome, and each registered child will receive a pack of cricket goodies including:

  • cricket bat
  • ball
  • backpack
  • water bottle
  • personalised shirt, and
  • cap

…so that they can continue their love of cricket when they go home.

Lots of sign-ups already. We’re so looking forward to meeting you all!

PLEASE NOTE: All Stars Cricket replaces KWIK CRICKET for the duration of the All Stars programme (a minimum of 8 weeks from 19th May).

We may run 2 pay-as-you-go Kwik Cricket sessions (£2 per child per session) before the All Stars programme begins.

Lots of useful information and a short video about the ALL STARS CRICKET programme can be found on the ECB website…

St Annes U10s re-wrote the record books in their first game of the 2010 season at South Shore by becoming the only U10s team in league history not to lose any wickets in their innings.

Prior to then, the fewest wickets lost in an U10s league game was two. Well done boys!

The league record breaking team were: Alex Bradley (Captain), Kamran Iqbal, Kyle Skelly, Jake Cuff, Nathan Bend, Josh Taylor, Andy Drake, Rohan Yousaf, Jamie Van Wyk, Aidan Preston and Alexander Douglas. Well done boys, we're very proud of you!
